Sylvia Wilson, owner and chef of FEAST Catering Company began her culinary experience in 1996 when she and a good friend opened Mizuna Restaurant and Wine Bar in downtown Spokane. After 10 years of growing Mizuna into a successful business, she sold Mizuna to her long time manager and took some time off to do some soul searching.
The challenge of running a restaurant all those years was that it left no time to pursue other interests. She wanted to find a way to be able to lead a more balanced lifestyle while incorporating her love for being in the kitchen. Eventually she figured out a way to meld her passion for cooking with her love for travel.... thru catering. Catering allowed her to do what she loved most, be in the kitchen, while leaving her with more time an flexibility to travel.
Sylvia started Feast Catering Company in 2006. Many of the menu items are inspired from her travel around the globe. Feast's philosophy of using only the freshest, seasonal ingredients, organic when possible ensures that flavors are vibrant and memorable. Presentation is always modern and fresh. She takes pride in supporting local farmers and businesses and practices gentleness with the environment.
